Aim to build a technological and scientific innovation event with global influence

Dear Participating Enterprises,

The Semi-final On-the-spot Inspection of the third Hengqin International Scientific and Technological Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition has concluded. Please log in to the competition registration system to check the list of finalists (see Attachment 1).

The semi-final and final series of events will take place from January 23 to 26, 2024, in the Hengqin Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone and the Macao Special Administrative Region of China. The following matters are hereby notified:

I. Regarding Supplementary Information for Qualified Enterprises

1. Submission of Company Promotional Materials

Qualified enterprises are requested to provide information about the personnel participating in the events in person and relevant promotional materials by 12:00 noon on January 5, 2024. Please send the information to the competition email at hqkcds@zhdhq.com. The required list is as follows:

(1)Information about participating personnel

      Please fill in the information of personnel planning to participate in the competition series events using Attachment 2.

(2) Promotional materials

(a) Company LOGO source files (in PNG/AI/PS formats);

(b) Submit a 100-200 word company introduction in WORD format;

(c) Three images representing the company's image (such as personnel photos, work photos, product photos, with each image size not less than 3MB).

Note: This promotional material will be used for publicity and promotion during the semi-finals, final, and event reviews.

2. Supplementary Competition Materials

Enterprises qualifying for the semi-finals can log in to the competition registration system before January 12, 2024, and update or supplement their company information under "Other Display Materials" - "Supplementary Materials."

II. About the Semi-finals and Final Series of Events

1.Time and Venue

2.Travel to Macao Visa

All representatives of qualifying semi-finalist enterprises are requested to complete the Macao visa application process by January 22. The competition will announce the results of the semi-finals on January 24 and invite the qualifying finalist enterprises to participate in the final roadshow in Macao. Special Reminder: Representatives traveling to Macao are advised to comply with local laws and regulations and enhance awareness of anti-gambling measures in accordance with local regulations.

3. Transportation

(1)The competition will reimburse transportation expenses for qualifying semi-finalist enterprises (up to 2 persons) (Note: Airfare is limited to economy class, and train/ship tickets are limited to second class. Toll and fuel costs are not covered). Additionally, shuttle services to and from the airport/station will be provided. Transportation for additional individuals beyond the specified limit is at their own expense. The reimbursement limit for each participating enterprise group is not exceeding 1000 Chinese Yuan. Any amount exceeding the reimbursement limit must be self-funded, while any amount below the limit will be reimbursed based on the actual amount spent.

(2)The competition organizing committee has a ticket reimbursement consultation service desk on the 5th floor of the Hilton Garden Hotel in Hengqin, Zhuhai. If you need to claim transportation expenses, please provide relevant reimbursement documents between January 23 and 25, from 9:30 to 19:30. Alternatively, you can send the reimbursement documents by January 31 to: Wing Cheung Building, 5th Floor, Culture and Communication Company, Houpu Road, Hengqin Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone, Zhuhai, Guangdong, China. (Contact: Miss Wei, Phone: +86-0756-2993720). Requests received after the deadline will not be processed.

4. Accommodation and Catering

(1)The organizing committee will provide free accommodation for qualifying semi-finalist enterprises from January 22 to 23 in Hengqin (1 room), including dinner on the evening of the 22nd, and breakfast, lunch, and dinner on the 23rd. For qualifying finalists, free accommodation will be provided in Macao from January 24 to 25 (1 room), including breakfast, lunch, and dinner on the 25th, and breakfast on the 26th.

Note: The number of participants eligible for free meals per team should not exceed 2 people. Any additional participants will need to cover their own meal expenses.

(2)The hotel room types provided will be randomly assigned. If there is a request to adjust the room standard, the room fee must be paid by the participant. The competition will not be responsible for any other expenses incurred during the accommodation.
